#Prototype/Production variants of TT tanks as premiums

One thing that I have enjoyed over the years is the variety of premium tanks.
Specifically, I like premium tanks that are variants of existing vehicles with their tier changed. A bit niche, I know, but this covers quite the range. M51 Sherman, T-34-100, Heavy Tank No.6. It's a solid range. And I would quite like more.

Let's start off with a slightly unusual tank. The T-44M.
This is a T-44 that was modernised somewhat in the early 60's. Not intended as a frontline vehicle, this was a modernisation to aid with training. The relevant items are as follows:
Suspension upgraded with T-54/55 parts
Stabilisation on the gun
Other elements swapped to T-54/55 parts.

The end result is a vehicle that's easier to maintain, and still effective for crew training, whilst using old stocks of ammunition.

Why do I want this? Well, WG has tried for many years to add a T-44-85 premium, and these attempts have enticed me. The gun on the T-44M remains the 85mm, hence this is a T-44-85 premium.
I propose tier VIII for this, giving it more modern ammunition and 200 alpha (like the 07Rh German premium, which is a joy to play).

This is a Finnish Comet equipped with a 20 Pounder gun.

The idea was that their Charioteers be upgunned with 105mm L7s and their Comets get the leftover 20 Pounders. Britain didn't want to sell them the L7s, so the plan fell through.

The British equivalent was the COMRES 75, I believe part of the FMBT programme or one of the other many test programmes.

20 Pounder, unmanned turret, Autoloader. PC has this at tier VI for some reason. I'd like to see VII minimum, preferably VIII.

A late model Panzer III equipped with the 0725 gun found on mid tier German Heavies.
In my opinion, this would make for a good tier VI

A M4A3 Firefly.

A small number of these were built late war for the US on their request. My understanding is that at least one of these was a HVSS, which would be the one I would recommend if possible.

Interesting idea on some of these but what makes the different compared to the TT version

Such as the pz or firefly

Well, the Panzer III would be a higher tier. Tier VI is my proposal. It's using the 0725 Squeezebore gun found on the VK 30.01 (H), just on a mobile platform.

The Firefly? It's American. The others are British

KV-1 prototype. Saw service in Finland along with the T-100 and SMK.

Equipped with a 45mm gun and a 76mm gun, I would argue that this could work in tier IV. Failing that, the L-11 armed KVs could work

Grille Ausf H.
An earlier variant using a largely unmodified Pz 38 (t) hull, the gun is mounted far forward

The Strv 41 is a license produced TNH (Panzer 38 (t) equipped with a 37mm Bofors and a number of other changes.

A successful design, it served as the basis of a number of other Swedish designs, some serving into the 60's.

Waffenträger designs frequently came in pairs.
The 10.5cm Howitzer and 8.8cm L/71 are a common pairing, as is the 12.8cm and 15cm guns.
This is one of the latter, a 15cm Panther Waffenträger, related to the 12.8cm Skorpion we already have.

The T20E3 is the variant of the T20 that entered mass production.
Equipped with Torsion bar suspension, this would be a nice option to give US tier VI something that isn't a Sherman variant.

Here's another idea, this one already partly implemented.

This is a loading assist device for the German 8.8cm L/71 built late in WWII. We have it already on the Panzerknacker, but a premium autoloading Tiger II would be interesting.

In a similar manner, Skoda built the 7.5cm Kwk 44/1 for the Panther, and this was an Autoloader. Tier VII premium?
