There is a lot of confusion on this topic.

Does whichever EU Consumer Protection law being cited around the discord apply to all changes to paid content?
Does buffing a premium tank have the same legal requirements as nerfing one?
What exactly qualifies as paid content?
What constitutes a change (buff, nerf, bug fix, mechanic change, etc)?
What steps are necessary to change paid content?

I don't buy it. Let's have a thought experiment. Nerfing alpha by half or buffing hp by 100% have pretty much the same real world effect. Except that bigger numbers look and sell better.

WG proofed that gloabal changes are fine(wiesel weight, missile arming distance) .

So a gloabal alpha nerf by 20% would be 100% fine according to WG's history.

A day later WG can buff every alpha to where it was and leave just taran with the lower alpha. WG proofed that gloabal buffs aren't a nerf with low tier hp buffs but not buffing the Panzer 5/4 aswell.

Even if there was this mysterious law WG already proofed the law can't stop real world nerfs to tanks.

In my opinion WG not nerfing taran and others is a conscious discussion to not scare customers and keep them buying the latest strong/toxic tanks.

Except that’s not quite how it works.

You’re not protected from all factors, just that you get essentially what was advertised/offered/promised and as with nearly everything legal it comes down to reasonable person, legitimacy, substantial, material, etc.

And it’s not even average Joe that WG has to worry the most about since they don’t exactly paint themselves the poster child of forthrightness or disclosure. It’s not just the price to pay at the end, but the price to get there after investigations, determinations, interrogatories, depositions, motions, etc. They might win but lose—not die, but bleed. Not many would feel sorry for them.

Can you forward the question to your legal team and get an answer on the steps necessary to get a premium nerfed. Also having an explanation why the wiesel /BUGFIX/NERF is fine without offering a refund.
