#Disabled auto hull lock in sniper mode

There might be an option in the settings for this. I remember toggling some hull lock stuff at some point a while back
screenshot it
I'll take a look for it when I'm online next
Not sure what the exact question or suggestion is based on the follow up post. but I made a video explaining hull lock.
You can disable hull lock for 3POV only as it is helpful for CQB engagements but it can not be disabled in sniper view as it can screw you up when aiming.
There is a setting to disable it for ARTY but that is only for when they are aiming.
Disgaree its should be option to disable auto hull lock in first person
Disagree with what? This is a fact and the current settings.
As I said your initial post is very unclear. I legitimately had no idea if/what you were complaining about or if you were making a suggestion. 😅
If you want to propose a change. Then it would be easier to get more input if you made the post more clear, suggesting that an option to disable traverse lock in sniper view be added. 🙂
"as it can screw you up when aiming." you said this part i disagree with
I see. It would help to be specific when you disagree with something so there’s less confusion.
To respond though it absolutely can and the easiest way to explain it is to look at how it works when disabled in arty sniper view.
You can be tracking/leading a target all the way to the edge of your traverse and right when you think you got a shot lined up, BOOM! The system automatically traverses your vehicle and reticle blooms out again. Ruining your aim.
Whether or not you think that isn’t a big deal, but I’m very sure there are many people who’ve played this game that will agree that traverse lock being disabled has messed up a few perfect shots of theirs.
Not much to disagree with there. An unexpected hull rotation will bloom out the gun, potentially pop it off target, and apply moving concealment values
This stuff too. I was only thinking aim. Completely forgot the other stuff.
Not arguing that the option shouldn't exist just agreeing there are pros and cons of each (hull lock enabled v disabled)
