Fix the matchmaker to match the same tanks against each other (if possible). If not possible, match it with the same or next caliber. And however, never mix matches like 6-3-6 or 6-2-7 (high-mid-low tier). Balance that to a 4-5-6 or 5-5-5 setup. I would wait a minute in the queue for that!

Given Bots are not going away, why not +/-1 MM thats modified. So Top & Middle Tier humans, bottom Bots. Max 5 Bots per mix. That would allow any human player a chance as a Middle Tier of damaging the Top Tier in most match ups. Top Tier are still top Tier. I assume there are enough human players around to make a 10v10 battle.

WG indicate that we don't have enough humans for +/-1, sadly.

There are enough people, they just won't let us wait too long to find a match. I said it once. I would wait a minute longer for a good and equal match up.

Probably attract more new players because they're not getting 💩 on by tanks 2 tiers above that they can't do anything to apart from track

Personally I don't understand why +/-1 isn't used. I understand that when the game 1st started WG didn't have a large of tanks for players to use or a sufficient number of people, so +/-2 and sometimes -3 was thinking. But in 2024? So -3 has gone. Tanks WG have so many they stopped selling heaps of Premiums. It doesn't take much game time to find out that the -2 you are grinding/playing can't Pen and damage the Top Tier tanks on the Red team but they can definitely do it to you.

This Matchmaking is horrendous, why am I constantly playing tier 10 in an 8? This is the worst I’ve ever wanted to destroy my console more than this game’s terrible matchmaking. I’ve uninstalled this game ten times already and my friends keep asking me to reinstall it to play. I’m starting to get sick and tired of this game being impossible to grind any tier no matter what. War Gaming fix this matchmaking please for the love of God

Well it’s been out for what min 8 years now? It took them that long to make bottom tier tanks a minimum of 5 vehicles (I think) now.
No more 1-3 bottom tier vehicles. I can remember being the Only tier 8 on my team in a 10 match!!
So, I wouldn’t hold my breath on that request .

8’s and 9’s are horrid. Tier 9 you at least have some hope but nothing is better than 9/10 matches just getting railed by invisible 750+ tanks. Matchmaking would be better if it weren’t so overran with TD’s. TD’s are in such a bad state because they’re just point, click, and penetrate. If heavies were half way decent, and mediums and lights had an advantage over TD’s it probably wouldn’t feel as bad. Just the current meta is stupidly easy to play.

I believe MM is f* because there is simply too few players in the queue on console. On PC MM worked OK when there was over 10k players online playing.

After playing some multiplayer games I get the feeling there is never enough players online making way too many games so ridiculously rigged that it's a miracle anyone wants to keep playing multiplayer.

Thanks to bots being scripted, coop becomes quickly boring. And CW, well, why bother when the tanks you grind become POS overnight like BMP-3 with the missile "improvement" mess, adding minimum arming distance and then blocking line of sight completely making hitting anything somewhat challenging.

I am sorry to say but I am starting to believe this game is dying. Today I opened the game and didn't bother to play at all. Let's see if I even bother to open it tomorrow. Those free chests contain nothing but boosters which I have not use for. I also already finished the season and am on stage 200 and the only reward I keep getting is a bunch of annoying spam notices after every single battle. Not fun, not fun at all.

This should have been probably posted to #1024332743070453853 and/or #1201556402477469797 and/or #1273395154459430972, but I already reported the same things there long ago which was total waste of my time.

If you get mostly tier 10 matches in your 8, try a different tier or even CW. That is what I do. Sometimes there seems to be a lot of t10 in queue. But not enough to not need t8s to fill in the match.

When you are down 2 tiers all the time, it really isn't worth it.
