Im sure everyone agrees here that the current maps we have in rotation and not great. We have a couple good ones but ngl i tend to only see a variety of about 5 maps a day.
So can we have some of the old maps or the pc maps added back please?

Both are bigger, ghost towns centre area is different as well as using some of the outside areas for some hills that we don't have, I'm not super familiar with pcs redshire either but I believe the blimp is on the battle field and your able to use it as cover

Pc redshire the blimp crashes into the map during the pre match timer and that’s where rhe heavies go brawl. It’s pretty covered from arty too. And you can also go into the castle on the opposite side of the map

This season is Liberty Falls, previous season was Live Oaks, before that was Azure Coast, etc.

is that the same as my bus outside my house saying its every 8minutes? i know WGing gave us 4 CW maps and Vinyards, pretty much same update. But this is the equivilent of 2-3 buses arriving together and waiting for a bus for 30minutes when it said it was every 8. Recently, you lot been on maps pretty hard, fair play, just dont take foot off gas and get us the rest, and the PC maps while your there.

for the last 5 or so seasons, we have had a map, yes, finally we got old map back. I just pointed out 2 seasons we didnt get 1 map at all.

Mate, read old patch notes... It's like Max told you earlier, every season has brought back at least one map. Their current pace is awfully slow, I agree, only 1 map in every season is very slow compared to 2021 when we got 4-5 maps per each season. But that's the way it is now, most of their map designers apparently have been ordered to do something else, or at least that's what Paingod or Bam1500 said in one of their streams way back in 2022.

Dont need to read them. I was there. 5 maps only, we called it map starvation. Iv made and tested maps, it doesnt take 6 weeks unless your solo, the actual hard bit is done already. And yes WGing people can rush here and tell me it was more than 5 maps because of alternate spawns and assault modes, wow yay 1 map per season, shut the front door.

Im not giving the orders to change priorities. We used to get 3-4 maps drop every few seasons. I cant even remember the names its been that long.

We never got 3-4 every season. What we got were essential skins for maps like the war versions, weather versions, and whatever abnormal thing jungle artic reagion was.

No Villers bocage is a commune in France which in ww2 panzer ace Michael Wittman was killed in during the battle for Normandy. Was just saying I'd like to see a map of it in future.

I was talking about 2021, after update 6.0 they added back 4 maps (one time even 5 maps!). Unfortunately they gave up doing that in halfway of 2022. 😕 And if we look wayyyy back, they added total of 7 new maps into game in a single update. That was around 2015 or 2016... And I mean completely new maps, not weather variants or some other variants. Those were the good old times when things got done quickly and without huge amount of bugs in every update... 😞

It was one of the worse maps in the game. The reddit poll 2 years ago gauging map interest had Icebound as literally dead last, with Ardennes and Pacific Island rounding out the bottom 3

Side note, WG has more or less followed the results of that poll. All but a couple of the top half of maps have been implemented and only 2 of the bottom half of maps

You're right....kinda. They weren't all available from the start of the season, they were released in sycles, 2-3 weeks between each one.

Not the only maps that dropped in a group either, these were times where we had maps actually get rotated out or tier restricted, because we had enough to fill the gaps.

new maps should contain tasteful high brow interpolarity and surrealism. I think I would like a 4 dimensional map with tanks driving on the ceiling and walls, lets put that gun elevation to use!

To bring back all the deleted maps should’ve priority to be honest! It does not feel like it.

My only complaint about the maps this year, is that we have only had 1 or 2 maps for era 2, and zero maps for era 3. I'd like to see some maps that can be added to both modes, rather than having focused on maps that can't.

I would also very much like to see the expanded Mines, and the expanded PC maps get added into the game.

When Icebound was in the rotation years ago, It was not well liked. Since the meta is even faster than it used to be, my guess is that it would be even less liked now.

Windstorm was better, but still not a favorite by any means. With the current faster tank and higher view ranges, I also think Windstorm would not be well received now.

Komarin seemed more liked than the other two. It was played at higher tiers, but was best suited for low and mid tiers.

Icebound might be improved by increasing the playable area dramatically. Increase the grid to 1400x1400 but keep the same scale of the town.

Adding 400 to the South and East sides of the map could really improve the map. This would give higher tier tanks more room to move.
