Wargaming has had non historical tanks in the game for years now
Yeah, but going in this direction transform wotc into crossout and look how empty are those type of games.
Just saying they add Warhammer tanks so yeah games already kinda been morphed by that
With the recent announcement of halo coming to ps5 this idea is now actually possible so im bumping this up because it's no longer a pipe dream 
Dont think the cobra could work as not only as that's a railgun td but also it's siege mode completely changes the vehicle into a completely stationary gun
And it's wheeled so even less likely to work
The rhino plasma arty would be cool but idk how a energy weapon based vehicle would even work in wotma
Rail gun could be the more of a tank you pen, the more damage you deal. Siege mode could function be a cool niche if you ask me for a tank, could take 5 seconds to enter it then 1 second to leave for balance
Too much effort to implement, but would definitely be cool
Could just be like the concept 5 on pc where they function like tracked tanks with more so a wheel cosmetic

But that's kinda boring
And the main issue with the difference between the cobra,s travel mode vs seige mode it goes from a double barrel railgun to a singular massive slow firing railgun that alone would be insane to get working
And when it's in siege mode in hw1 it literally can't move even the strv,s can somewhat move around
Because of that I really only can see the scorpion either bungie or 343i designs and the grizzly from hw
The double barrel part would operate like an autoloader.
A 1-2 shot. Firing 2 shots with 1 trigger pull.
Similar design to the wolverine s1,s rockets one trigger pull two rockets

It's just siege mode that's the difficult part

The only way I can imagine getting the two gun types/fire modes to work is via a gun package option.

Also no animation work for combing the guns.
The Cobra just seems like its way too much of a pain though.
Should the cobra be a tier10 or era3 premium if it was at all possible
Id say tier 10 because its slower than era 3.
Would give it time to transition to the siege mode.
Yeah it because of that makes sense to be ww2 in cw would be a sitting duck and just asking to get swarmed by autocannon,s
I dont think itd be worth the effort though.
Could lowkey just simplify it by making the firing modes turret options 🤷♂️
So the only realistic options are the scorpions and Grizzlies

Id also include the Wolverine and AA Wraith
Idk how how the wraith in any version be possible since they hover
Like how would you "track" it
Having the aa wraith or the classic mortar version would be cool i just don't get how'd it translate into wotma game design
Id like to imagine like the UDES 03, just with a low velocity gun.
If it was at all possible to get working would be very unique since it can straife basically at full speed
Now would the wraith,s get thier short boost ?
The strafing part I wouldnt include tbh.

Id say making it a heavy armored version of the UDES 03 would be interesting.

I can personally see the standard wraith being a arty as that's essentially what it is in halo

Idk if it's stated anywhere in lore they got a limited amount of shots or can just endlessly spam
Still think keeping the boost would be necessary could be handy as a surprise ram like in halo

The Wraith (ingame) doesnt have a consistent boost, only a short burst of speed.
So, Krampus ram.
And only like 20m of movement
Could lengthen it's boost like in h4 or think h5 if necessary
Or just slap a handful of short rockets, could even animate the propulsion drive when it does it
Another unique animation when the game is about to start it opens up as if the driver got into the driver seat
And keep it's in game death effect with the blue/purple fire effect
Id even say keep it's standard driving sounds would be pretty cool
Ugh getting to slap someone with a giant ball of plasma would be funny af
Tough thing is still don't see getting around the issue of yknow, no tracks

We kinda have something that already is in the game that does have tracks that can't be tracked the awakened revenant in monster mash so we kinda already have something like it 
Could be a similar situation
Only solution i can think of
Just make it's "tracks ridiculously armored" while invisible boom improvised hover tank since it won't straife
I like how there's enough scorpion variants to make a line
As for the wraiths some there too ig
Like imagine we got permanent lines of halo vehicles

Getting the wraith,s to work in wotma probably would be a pain the easiest halo tanks to get working would be the scorpion/grizzly as we already have a quad tracked vehicle with the ae phase1 so the idea is already there a base
Make the two thrusters on each wide act like "wheels". Have to disable both to track the vehicle.

And yes the grizzly either the hw1 version or the hw2 version would be awesome to have
if we'd get the hw2 version since it has missiles it would play like the tmnt foot cruiser
The hw1 version would just be a standard dual gun tank
didnt ask just give me my megatron tank and hw1 grizzly
I actually like the HW2 Grizzly way more.
