Before the last season started, I had several goals that I wanted to complete.

  1. Complete 5 out of the 6 seasons to earn the Caliope tank. I do admit, that I somehow mixed up the award tank type, but still finished over 183
    Season Challenges before the end was reached— DONE
  2. I wanted to reach a total of at least 150 mil in Silver by season’s end. I ended up with over 154 mil— DONE
  3. I wanted to get silver for the HMH Chrysler since I already earned the same tank like it was yesterday— DONE
    And 4. I wanted to see if any of the new season awards were worth grinding for…..again— DONE

So here I am looking at the last two years and wondering if WG would implement changes to the game that would keep me playing. I am retired, so my time to invest in playing is readily available, but my patience unfortunately ran out. —- DONE

I really like driving tanks and blowing up things, but that just isn’t enough anymore. Good luck to you all, and may the algorithms keep you out of being 2 tiers down…but, don’t hold your breath.

Of course while it is a matter of opinion, me and my friends love running customs. Get some buddies and do hide n seek, sardines, arty battleship, etc. there are a ton of mini games yall can come up with

I left after 6.0 & came back a year ago this past December. With no War Stories or new Achievements there really isn't a point to the game right now FOR ME other than playing with friends but Max I mean WG discourages this with 3 person platooning the new seasons rewards are geared to solo players who hangout in their garage for hours at a time. MM is clearly broken (A platoon of 3 at 10 isn't equal to 3 at 8 especially when there are only 3 8s) the focus on MOEs has killed team play as well as gameplay IMO. If not for 2 of my friends still playing I would be gone or rarely play.

I think that at the heart of it is that more and more high powered tanks make the -2 spread more frustrating than ever. It was one thing to fight 2 tiers down when everyone was grinding up each line. During that time the chances to do battle and be competitive was more prevalent. Not so much any longer. There are so many one shot capable tanks now, you can’t afford to be spotted. When I play, and have been killed, I spectate. More and more, I find bottom tier tanks staying out of sight, or staying away from the battle. It used to tick me off, but now, I totally understand it. I am an average player, and I totally get why it is occurring.

LOL…. My primary hobby is RC aircraft. That’s where my money goes. So…realistically, I have to maintain good hand eye coordination. For me, my skill is good enough, except, I draw the line at jets. WOT was, at one time, my bad weather hobby. 😊

As someone who doesn't have a lot of time to spend, the decline in QoL and lack of gameplay effecting changes means that I just don't play.

Then there is TOG jumping. The objective is to see just how many TOGs one can successfully jump over. Add one TOG after each jump attempt. If memory serves our clan -OFF- had a person who cleared five.

But they didn't stick the landing and went ba-da boom.

I don’t have a TOG, but if I did, I have always wanted to play it on Lakeville. I would like to take up to the narrowest spot in the mountain valley, turn it completely sideways and leave it there. 😀

We used to have theme nights. We did TogTuesdays where we would roll in just TOGs. Quite fun.
