I think the default option for buying camo shouldn’t be the gold option. It’s way to easy to accidentally buy gold camo and there has been times I bought gold camo for a tank I am not keeping. Maybe the default can be the lowest silver option.

It also depends on if the camo is a special camo or basic camo cause some camos you can only purchase with gold

I would think most players still have plenty of vouchers. I keep telling myself to use mine up (they aren't much help unused), but still have several to spare. On sale weeks like this, I tend to buy camo using silver.

I don't personally think that Gold should be the default for anything, except tanks, and perhaps a few similarly major purchases. It shouldn't be the default for prammo or for crew nationality changes (which are usually accidental anyway).

We have been trying to get them to silver default ammo for 9 years, so when they change something it doesnt default gold and steal from you. Do you really think this will ever happen?

I prefer 4 separate camos myself. If the skin versions were available as camos, I'd probably buy more.

You must be spamming the “A” button then cause to go and get a skin or camo the game gives you like 3 opportunities for you to make decisions on selecting camos for tanks

I have to admit, my current controller has a sticky A button. (Defective, not food-related). I need to replace it, before it gets me into trouble. Again.

Well I said it before it goes right to the gold option when you pick the color. No are you sure or anything. You press a once more after the color it’s bought for gold.

An obvious safeguard would be to keep a couple of vouchers in reserve. You shouldn't get caught out then.

1st opportunity: picking the camo/skin
2nd opportunity: selecting voucher or currency
3rd opportunity: selecting what type of payment you want to make to receive the camo/skin

Ok you said it like 3 times and it’s still the same. No vouchers goes right to the buy menu that defaults to the gold option. Yes I shouldn’t be spamming A but it still shouldn’t be the first option when there is no confirmation after it.

Good suggestion. Hopefully they can change the premium ammo default as well. Ensure people are getting what they actually want instead of being tricked.

And WG has fuddled with these menus plenty of times for aesthetics so there really is no “staff are busy” excuse.

Basically I'd just like to not be robbed of 60 Gold every time I mistakenly place a commander in the wrong tank, in the jumbled up mess that WG regards as a "selection screen".

How about offering only SAME NATION tanks for crew assignments, unless a player specifically requests another nationality?

Something as simple as that would keep a lot more players playing.

I think most of us have been dinged this way multiple times by now. One time really was too many.
