I know you think you've nerfed it by giving it more health and faster fire rate because that's definitely a nerf
But whoever is deciding these things needs to stop or maybe play the game because artillery it still ridiculous
Two games in my HTC today have involved losing all my health in a single artillery shot

See the positive side, when an arty chooses a tank to take out it is because was the most broken tank in the enemy team, I like to take out AVRE, RUSTHLESS , object279a, and so on
Yes certainly arty doesn't just go for whatever damage is easiest. Surely they will target a top tier heavy over a bottom tier medium they could HE pen.
Every time I face a top tier arty in a bottom tier vehicle I become priority #1

What WG needs to do is play the game more often than just the streams because at this point it's like a blind team that have no clue what happens when something changes outside of when a few numbers change
If a tank does 10k per game but keeps losing it's a balanced tank according to WG

But it does get 6 attempts to damage everything outside your tank

Some Atry players do target the most dangerous tanks in the game, but not very many. It does seem like most go for an easy target which does nothing to help win the match, just pad their stats.
Every time I Contra attack an enemy arty and destroy it I make a mark in my console controls
I target avres first then areas where there's 4-5tanks. Not worth it to counter arty, waste alot of time trying to counter arty
They complain about Everything BUT the main issues... that's why we are where we are today.
What u know about statpadding in arty? Because that would be one of the weirdest thing ever to do that in weakest class in the game while game is full of broken OP regular vehicles.
Only one arty might be considered good for that and that s t3 US sexton1 (made by WGCB) and still think that something like su76i, t127, fcm36pak40 etc might be better
What are the best skills for a artillery commander???
I cannot check my stuff atm but I like: sixth sense, rapid loading, steady aim, born leader, and maybe clutch braking. Bit of an every tank setup but like I said, I cannot check at the moment to see what I have

For Super Arty OP'ness, all you need to do is take the following commander skills in order:
- Iron mace
- Deadeye
- Comms technician
- Last stand
- Gunsmith
- Adrenaline rush
- Safe stowage
- Trick driving
- Quick learner
Wait why quick learner as the last skill on an already maxxed out commander?
I think you mean “born leader” as your 9th skill
I don't know what you mean. 
Pretty sure it is nearly perfect as-is. Maybe switch the order of trick driving and safe stowage depending on your playstyle.
I only see quick learner as the last slot being useful is you are willing to spend tons of gold transferring commander xp into free xp. Otherwise, it is more worthwhile to spend some gold and respec without quick learner
Deadeye is kinda worthless for arty unless you are using AP..which you shouldn't be

-Rapid Loading or Clutch Braking are viable options
Why snapshot on an arty?
For when I have to shotgun light tanks that get past my team to rush arty or when I’m playing the French arty
I use the ramming perk cuz most LTs like to ram me lol

I started looking more closely at the crew skills and then was like, “there’s no way this guy is serious 🧐, 🤣” comms technician was the giveaway, no one uses that skill?! 🤣

Arty is and has always been the most hated class. However WG is hesitant to really nerf arty because of how many players play it.
It seems like I see 2 arty on each team most matches. That is 4/30 players or 13% of the players. So apparently there are a lot of players that enjoy the arty playstyle.
That two per game now effectively operates as 4, since their reloads were buffed with artillery 2.0. Feels bad, man.
Arty feel worse to me as well. Just a constant barrage of shells raining down. When two arty focus you it is really bad
Especially nasty in lower tiers. Multiple arty can reload fast enough to perma track you if you don't have a repair skill. It feels awful to play against

We do not have many intense battles, and artillery is cutting this small number in half. It's the only reason why I still play this game for fun, not to get another premium tank.
It really is a joke as Kavorka in another thread wants to eliminate Artillery all together from the game.
As an avid arty player (yeah, I know you hate me..lol), the developer has finally proven to me they no longer want my money. As it is currently, when I go to aim the arty long distance, it always defaults to one of the far upper corners. This effectively removes arty from the game as most of my time is spent trying to move the targeting circle to where I need it. If you don't know what I mean, try this: shoot, move, re-aim, repeat.

That’s a great shot by arty to ammo rack a Maus, rng was not in your favor at that time. That shot doesn’t happen very often from what I’ve seen, so you were just unfortunate.

@fresh hazel then explain why every time I see a 58 in the game they crush. My explaination is that most players simply refuse to understand how to avoid Arty. Sitting in an open field getting pounded by HE is not the way you make Arty fail at their job.
@earnest dragon I disagree. If the priority target isn't dhootable (i.e. a player with an actual brain that uses cover) then I'm going for the easy target. It does help the teaml because the faster the other tank dies, the quicker everyone wanting to shoot them can focus on the threat hiding behind the rock.
No clue every time I play it it sucks and mines maxed out and marked 🤷🏿♂️
@fresh hazel I'm working on getting mine right now. Some tanks just work well for some and are a struggle for others. My weakness is heavy tanks. I'm great with mediums, td's, and even light tanks (kind of). But for the life of me I cannot drive my T110E5 like the impenetrable beast I see others doing so. I even have an MOE on it but I still get smacked when face to face.
I honestly think people take their own shortcummings in this game and turn it into "it needs nerfed ro removed" hatred. Like the Taran. The thing has no armor and you can scout it without getting hit but that tank gets sooooo much hatred. I think it's just all jelous grille lovers lol.
