I agree but to clarify, with Coop and training mode all the necessary fundamentals are in place ready to create a War Stories complete with story markers and bots appearing as needed. Thats a huge time and cost savings for WG. And given that online game size is not an issue in 2023 another hurrdle overcome. So the start screen could have under custom games a new tab called War Stories. WG could even use current maps.

They should have done what PC did a “collectors tab” where all tier 1 and 2 tanks where relocated from there respective tech trees but WG console are know for taking short cuts and being lazy. Funny how this game is called world of tanks and yet removed a good amount of tanks which many of those were real.

As CW got unleashed 3 more Tiers reduced the size of player pool for all levels. So removing Tiers 1 and 2 as starting Tiers did 2 things. 1st 2 less tiers for the MM for new players and Era 1 became a new starting Tier for new players.

my suggestion is for a totally new game mode just for early tanks and it would be pvp V M, 2 teams filled with dozens of bots and real players intermingled, arcade elements like repair kit spawns and functional bunkers to capture and blow up that would cause/stop artillery bombardments in key areas

Don't know it that's 100% true or not, but do you guys not realize what this team and company are actually capable of, and what they're not these days ? We're are probably going to get 1 new map next year, that they've already been working on for quite some time, possibly 2 and 2 or 3 old ones back and that's probably it. The things you guys are asking for, is like asking for a blood transfusion from a dead man. They don't have it to give. I don't think they could give it if the wanted. All their development is on premium tanks. They've seriously downsized over the years, since War Stories and all that. Way less people work there. Not a ton of people even work in the main Chicago office. I don't know how else to say this, but if you didn't know, they're kind of what you would call a skeleton crew, I think that's the proper term or a small team. I mean if MS or Ubi Soft bought them up, then yeah, we could have nice new things. But you also have to realize the things that have happened in the last 3 years, and the stuff that's waiting to happen in 2024. A lot of things are going to be seriously slowing down, Sir. Don't forget there's a reason the Head guy and the second head guy walked out mid 2022. Enjoy the game while we have it and the new Op premium tanks that will be coming out. During the extra life stream Max asked in chat why War Stories because co-op is the same thing. They really don't understand why War Stories are not simply co-op. It IMO was the map set-up & stories themselves. When WG added a campaign that you could play solo or co-op it was unique because many solo/co-op vs AI games add MP not the other way around.
About adding back the old lower tier tanks I agree 100% they should also allow you to earn rewards in tiers below 3 & work contracts in co-op. Sometimes MP is nerve wrecking again IMO...

I believe WG could redo a PVE game in 2023/24. The current Training Mode shows the basic code is already developed. What would need to be 'created' (for want a better word) are. 1. A Story line (with or without )art. 2. Intro/Ending videos. 3. Completion Reward/s. 4. Map creation or selection (import from PC or just use a 'large' map to allow spreeding out of way points). 5. Tank and crew selection options. That's about it. Yes it is Not War Stories but it could get close.

Get rid of coop and replace with 2 or 3 stories come with season on rotate without any impact restrictions with sony and mircosoft gb limit with maps that are already in game use it as one path with add invisible walls. It come with lead scoreboard and rewards with up to 5 players squad silver and exp earn will be decent. Very similar with warface. I hope wg go experience warface game and get idea without copying from them. What i see warface doing is just pull stories maps out and replace with other stories with different maps on rotation as new season go.

No, not the slow one. This one is actually fairly fast, just not as fast as the 1 C. It's possible that I did have it on the main account back in my first year. I remember selling a fast German light to free up the slot, mostly because I had to pay Gold to remove some equipment that I had foolishly installed. Spall liner or something. In retrospect I should have just kept it.

It probably was a premium, if that was it.

Pz II g, I have one also. It's the pz1c chassis with a better gun but it makes the tank slower. Its a tank they removed from the tech tree but if you already had it you got to keep it

The gun on the pzIIg will shred tier5s no problem, I hated the pz1c only because when you are bottom tier you can't pen anything even with premium rounds....didn't hate the pz1c that's a lie. Its fun but the IIG performs better imo

It's same chassis but it's slower because the pzIIg gun is heavier

30mm compared to just under 8mm big difference when you need to pen

I'm not worried about stats, but I will try to get it restored. I probably played straight through it back in the day and moved on to the next tank in the tree, selling this one to free up the slot. I did that a lot back in my early days. Some of those lower tier tanks did deserve to be played more than a handful of battles. This seems to have been one of them.

That's the good thing about tt tanks. Different guns allow for different ways to play. I tend to go with faster, "weaker" guns, as I usually fight up-close. (Problems reading the current UI, especially since they stupidly removed the enhanced info box. It should at least be an option, as we're still using up an equipment slot for it).

I don't know if you were playing at the time or not, but I remember one early earn op where we had to collect 5 or 6 tokens to earn the tank - but there was no info in the game itself that told us what the actual requirements were. So it was trial and error, trying to earn them. I ended up 1 short and missed out. Really frustrating. I'm sure many others were likewise.

The info was probably on the forums, but most players still didn't know about them. And now, of course, there are no longer any forums either. So lots of info still goes unnoticed.

I was 360 myself. Those were the days, when players actually worked TOGETHER. I'd get into some interesting chats at the end of battles too. It was a friendly place to be then. I missed out on that tank, thanks to not being on the right team. Luck of the draw really. I did win the 2nd tankbowl (by running 2 accounts, improving my odds), but that was a pretty crappy Russian Sherman. It looks nice in the garage, earns silver if you are desperate enough to play it, and that's about it.

I played, off and on, for at least a year without realising there was a map you could call up. (Yeah, really!). I basically learned each map through exploration and memorising landmarks. It sounds clumsy, but somehow I made it work.

I made the mistake of starting off with British mediums, with basically no armour at all. Not too bright in retrospect. The French line would have probably been best for learning the basics, given their heavy armour and low speed.

In retrospect, I'd have been better off clearing out all my 0 skill commanders, but they never let us in on that. All they told us was that we couldn't rename or gender change them after that week. There was no mention (at least through the game) that our skilled commanders' skills would be spread thinly between all commanders, leaving them all pretty useless.

Simon Linnett, who came with the Snakebite as a "premium commander", didn't get in a single battle before they removed his Snakebite skill and he became yet another generic 1-skill commander.

It was better when it was released, maybe my memory is foggy but it was 6 years ago and i remember it being a lot better than the waste of a slot it is now, maybe I'm wrong but I know you couldn't pick it and needed to buy the Bogatyr tank and you got this unique crew where the skill was unavailable to pick apart from on this crew, if you swapped it out for 10gold you lost it forever

Back then you could have had a super crew with 25 skills

Useless for me as I don't camo and snipe but if it works for some people, more power to them

Yes it's a percentage just like the new skill that replaced it, if anything the new skill probably is more powerful than Iron Mace as most 6.0 skills are, and at the least, it's most likely the same. I don't think they ever really listed a percentage with Iron Mace, you'd have to ask Max, maybe Joco, or actually Pontiac Pat if you could get a hold of him, and he'd still remember.

Yeah I must have got my pz2g back before the changes, you used to be able to put 5 separate tickets in for tech tree tanks you'd sold that year for the silver you sold them for instead of having to buy them for full price in the tech tree. And you could list a as many tanks as you could afford on each ticket..
Sometimes support will say you have played too many games when you haven't. You need to politely remind them of their own policy and they'll get back to you
