Just wondering how many of us have the battle result of 10:0 11:0 and more. I mean everyone like to win, right, but where's the limit? There is about 70-80 % of the battles ended with double digits, no matter it's a win or lose.
Do we not like the close results?
Maybe I'm wrong have the feeling that in some situations doesn't matter what you do you have to lose. On the other hand winning 14:0 you kind of feel sorry for the losing team after seeing 3-4 players done some damage and the rest of their team have all zeros.
How far WG will go with he's brilliant MM? Who will throw the stone first saying it's not the MM it's all coincidence?
#10:0 + battles

That’s just how it happens mathematically. The winning team usually just starts with a small advantage. Having more 1 gun alive doing damage quickly turns into 2 or 3 or 8 and the overwhelming firepower prevents more than a couple of tanks from dying, plus people usually play safe once they’re down to a 1 shot and their team is rolling. It’s not really any different now than it has been in the past
There’s a tipping point. If one team is able to start tipping the scales early, it’s hard to stop or even slow that momentum. That’s why it’s important to do damage early in the match.
From my experience, I see it alot when your team refuses to move forward and just sits in one spot the whole time because they just get flanked from every side they’re not trying to pay attention to and they’re only defending like 10% of the map
Its the concede two thirds of the map for me on maps like westfield when north spawn wants to sit in two squares at the bridge not even able to shoot across as they haven't pushed up that far its almost always a guaranteed loss yet because it worked once they do it every time.
I was recently playing some low tier games and the imbalance of team skill lead to noticeably more 10-0 matches had one 14-0 which was only that because our light decided to ram a jagdpanther killing themselves in the process otherwise it would have been 15-0
wargaming needs to do a better job at splitting the bad players / good players equally between teams same with tanks if you have 4 of the same tank split them up evenly especially if they're not in the same platoon dont give one team all auto loaders and the other none its not balanced
My absolute record is 18 losses in a row that happened in 2019. Tried to break 5x for the first battle at some holiday. Played one tank only till I won
Maybe it would help when WG doesnt throw T10 tanks with 900+ alpha on the players? Taran, Avre and Ruthless etc. take out most tanks with 2 or 3 shots. That extremly speeds up the game. Free T10 tanks with low skill cap (Avre) widen the skill gap between players and tanks. WG could litteraly start reworking the old tanks againe because they throw nonstop toxic tanks on the game.
If you have a stock tank 2 tiers down and against a fully skilled top line tank two tiers higher than you, you are likely to die rather than destroy the other guy. I see players sit broadside, or over the rear of their tank, showing some of the weakest parts of their tank. But mostly, I can’t believe the number of times that I die with one shot or 2 while I get, “didn’t,go through, that one bounced, that had to hurt, etc.”
@cobalt stream It is not just MM, I agree it worsens it, but the players are a big part of it aswell. If you just look how many playere dont even have a clue what they are doing and just drive around like chickens with their head cut off....even at tier 10 and era 3. Which is being caused by WG through facilitating new players to buy their way straight in to the high tiers.
When WG decided to launch these premium t10 meta games without requiring any experience from the player, they already knew about the inevitable disaster that the t8, 9 and 10 games are facing. They chose to close their eyes and line their pockets. And what's worse, I don't see that they care about it.
@silent agate Nope. Me neither
Most tier x games are lopsided. It's really comes down to who has the better 183mm guns and it's honestly ruining tier x for me. Maps are getting smaller so paper thin mediums, lights and TDs are just getting hesh blasted by avres while heavies aren't getting any spotting because their spotter either got blasted by the 3+ 1000 damage guns for trying to spot or they just get yolod by e4 ruthless platoons
To be honest, alot of the playerbase is just inexperienced and they all are in high tier/era lobbies.( Bc WG sling those tanks out left and right)
it's rigged it always has been, they try to keep W/R at around 49-51% - That's old news.
Ofc you loose if you have 3 grille in your team while enemy team has 3 t110e4
MM is just keeping you at +-50% and you get the most unfair Matches for example 3avre, 279 and e4 in enemy team while you play panther2 with only ruthless, leopard and other plastic tanks in your team
Premium tanks should have their own matchmaking and they can only face other premium tanks
That would make the matches way better in most cases
That's my whole point by making this post.
By having the first few reply of mathematical chances I gave up, I'm not here to feed the trolls.
Thank you for understanding and sharing my opinion
I always get some drunk ahh Russians in my team that come out with about 300dmg at the end of the round
Even if they play defender they are still Garbage
This is just a wish which will never come true, same as matchmaking+/- 1 tier.
The matchmaking+/- 1 is always very welcome when once in a while they do that event, for obvious reasons they don't want to implement this for good making a excuse about a long waiting time in the Q.
I think many of us wouldn't mind waiting a little longer for more fair matchmaking
Id rather wait a minute longer for not being in a scenario in that i need to play against 3 avre in a ru251
There are times now that I have waited a long time. It depends a lot on which tank type, and tier level you choose, the time in queue can go up, but so what. Personally, I would like to see it. I have played in the previous -1/+1 events, an I saw no difference. Besides, just maybe WG would need fewer bots to stuff into matches.
Especially because you hardly get maps where you can use your camo anymore. Maps getting smaller and smaller it feels
