I welcome any new/old map. It’s ok

Be careful, some self-proclaimed "super uni's" start crying and bleeding out if you want more maps.
Super uni’s lol when they say that I switch off. Done it myself, easy to do with correct tank. This new map is WWII as that’s the one I play. It’s ok, but small but it’s different
Seems fine. Of course I finally got it in the slowest tank possible and just chased the battle around clockwise the whole time.
It’s ok, nowt special but any new map is better than none imo

Map is too small. Was almost immediately spotted and torn apart before I could find cover. Not exactly a great first impression, tbh. Was in Type 5 heavy.
I miss the old system where u can actually play new map on day of the release, i did my dailies and didnt see this map
Good map but not to small before update 6.0 big map was 1200x1200 so Elenberg small is 1200x1200 and normal Elengberg 1400x1400 lol 😅🤣

There are bad maps that should never return. There is no world where having 20 good maps and 20 bad maps is better than having just the 20 good maps, honestly.
I would love a world with 20 good maps. I think there are about 5. If they are mostly bad anyway, might as well go for variety.
Only played it once so far (in WW2 in a Hellcat). Seems lots of opportunities for sniping with the back ridge areas and the central castle area overlooking large portions of the map. Need to play it in some other classes to form a better view, but nice to see something different.
Good map, first impression was good, Strv S1, 5k, 6 kills
bit confusive and the vision range is too short from my own experience on the map 
This map is way better than Nomonhon or Thiepval ridge or Dukla pass so I’ll take it
It seems decent, I wouldn’t mind seeing the large version.

So those are the maps that you don't want to be returning/in the game?
Yeah. Each one has significant, if not irreparable, map design or flow problems
Vinyard is ok at best imo. Middle of the map is basically unusable.
@stray jungle I think Caen and Northwest were a little better than the others you mentioned. At least playable. Be nice to get South Shore (I think that was the name) back from the old maps, too.
South coast was my favorite map, I hope it comes back sooner than later
South Coast is alright. It relies a lot on middle climbs which I am sure WG will destroy with rocks.
Only played it twice so far, so not seen too much of it. But I like it. Seems like a decent, if slightly hectic, map.
I really hope they don't, none of them had a huge advantage. It's mostly just spots for TDs and arty

For me map is not bad but I rather see it on 30vs30 than on 15v15

@stray jungle is there a reason that Summer or OG Mali hasn't returned ? Not that it is my fav map or anything, but I'm tired of the No shubbery winter version, we've had for years.
I did take a look at the frequency rates for Nedelberg in WW2 PVP. It's currently being handed out at 4x the rate of any other map in the Tier 5-11 range.
It is not available in WW2 PVP Tier 3-4 and is in a rotation system for all of the CW PVP Eras.
Well I’m positive it’s not being handed out to me at 4x the rate of any other map. Absolutely not in Cold War either

It’s been a common complaint that some haven’t even seen it yet whilst playing
Cold War - it's on an equal basis with the other maps - there's no special additional chances for it to show up.
WW2 - As mentioned earlier, we have increased the weight of the map in the selection algorithm so that if it's elegible to be picked, it's highly likely to be picked. However, that step occurs after we remove the most recent map of all the players in the match from contention. So, if you get into a WW2 match that isn't Nedelberg, odds are is that it's because someone in the match has just played it.
For what it's worth, when we tested the map selection settings in a simulator, the result of getting Nedelberg was roughly 1 in 10. That isn't a guarantee that an individual player will actually get it at that rate - individual experiences will vary. The actual results we are seeing from production indicate that the simulation results are pretty accurate.

On xbox series x. New map is stuttering. This isn't happening on any other map for me

I almost like it, the town needs to be cut off tho, you have a good brawl zone, you have a snipey flank. Maps really dont need places for stupids to hide anywhere they can away from the battle. Beach on overlord, town on hielbron.
It’s Heilbronn, not hielbron. Town is Ok, good addition. (Battle is also fought on the beach and in the town on the other maps, they are not hiding places, if there is no opponent, you also can move into the back of the opponent tanks)
Town is the best flank on Nebelburg
In my experience, the team on Overlord with more tanks on the beach usually loses. I am starting to like Nebelberg more and more as I get used to it.
its letting your team die while you kill a couple of spuds that went there also. Its not "the" battle its avoiding the battle so you can make up big numbers
What? lol the field is wide open and the middle gets hit from everywhere. How is it my fault my team goes to the bad sides of the map and die? 😂

Agree if you are in a heavy, medium or armoured TD, but lights and stealthy TD’s can have a good game holding the field and castle area. As this map is still new, players are yet to learn that they will get farmed in the castle and field areas
Is anyone else experiencing lag when spawned on b9 and you get to the corner b1, b2 hill area
Yes. I complained about that above. It starts stuttering on most elevated spots on the map.
In my opinion this map needs some adjustments. Its imo too open and when you try to push you dont have enough Cover and get shot down by redline campers
I find myself mostly playing in and around the city to avoid that. Failing that, there is always room for another redline bushwanker. I love how trying to cap is essentially suicide. Serves them right.

I think that the reason that there's a different version in CW vs WW2 is that some tanks (eg: Type 5 Heavy) would be unhappy. Which is the same reason that Halfaya pass is also not in WW2. The CW tanks having much more mobility makes it easier for them to access the full map
Edit: To be clear, I believe that this is something that BAM1500 during one of the weekly streams

The size of the CW Nedelberg is 1500x1500 (I think), as is Halfaya Pass.
The ones that you listed are at most 1200x1200 and more likely to be 1000x1000, so they should work just 'fine' for the superheavies. I know that it's a not a great experience climbing the hills of Dragon Ridge in a Maus, but ...
1000x1000 in width sure but as you said that exploration time is expanded by severe gradients and entire map divides meaning you’re forced to a lane on one side of the other usually.
Would rather walk a mile than climb a tower block of stairs personally
I'd suggest that you make a thread on the maps in the current rotation and give your thoughts as to why they should / shouldn't be in the rotation for those particular battle levels.
I would however there is no consensus or overwhelming majority so the effort would be lacking from the final result.
Besides, most items are approved based on what they love, not what they dislike, even though the dislike is the most vocalised.

The game goes full slow motion when you’re in the A1 corner up on top of that hill
And I’m on a series X with fiber internet
And my game nearly freezes solid on top of that hill
How does nobody play test this stuff before it goes live

That question pretty much sums up WG in the last 2 and a half years.
Anyway, the new map, in my opinion, isn’t anything special.
When “burg” is in the name, there is usually more city than forest/fields.
If there is more city outside of the borders, I think sliding the map borders over a little to make more buildings come into play would be nice.
Hopefully they get remade/redesigned, since it was stated that WG will look into changing a few after the original maps return.
They are truly awful maps.
Not usually. Burg is a castle, the one prominent in the middle of the map. There might be a city nearby or only a village or nothing at all.
What about live oaks? What about Ruinberg? What about ensk? What about the maps that the community has been asking for For years?? Why can’t we have that? Instead we got a PC map that no one asked for from my recollection that is already unbalanced because the map promotes camping in spawn, and the south east section of the map is biased to the south west spawn because they have a hill to hide behind with lots of large bushes and cover. North east spawn going south get eaten alive because all they have is houses, no cover to be able to use to even see without getting spotted and are forced to push into concealed tanks.the castle and upper ridges are bad because well, again, as soon as you are winning the castle, there is literally no cover. You are being force to push into -artillery -players camping in the spawn using concealment that cannot be spotted unless some poor brave person has to cross open ground to hope to proximity spot the base of the hill. This map frustrates so many people that I have to talked to about it.
We can make a different thread about preferred maps to return/remove/balance another time

Yeah, from the NE spawn I always go into town. Castle is an ok place to fight, but you can't really push from there unless whoever went into/above the town is pushing also. Digging out that SE corner is no fun.
FYI - and this is by no means "official", merely a strong suggestion - is that anything that is can be reported as a bug should go into the various bug-reports sections of #technical-support. Bonus if it includes a video showing the exact problem. I believe that others read these and collect info about potential bugs, but it's just a lot easier if there's a report with a video in the right place.
I'm not trying to pick on these - but rather they are examples of what should / should not go to bug-reports:
- "I go to <MapLocation> and my FPS drops significantly" should be a bug report.
- "Adding more buildings to make the gameplay better" is a suggestion and belongs in this feedback thread
Trash map, there is no push able or playable sides, you either get screwed by arty or TDs or from some random spot
You can push the town side quite easily, as long as you don’t take shortcuts. Most players try and push the centre, which is a death trap. The field is ok if you are a quick light or medium, but you have to keep moving. The buildings near the field are useless.
I'll try it next time, but I still really hate it cuz of the random angles you get shot from and because of it you can't set up a defense
Just my two cents... I really like this map, I'm glad it was added to the game. I will also be ecstatic when I don't see it constantly. I know its in high rotation now, so it'll just take some time, but that's my reaction. Great map tho, otherwise.
Getting graphical slowdown on SERIES X so its overheating my console probably, just like Heilbron and himelsdorf did. Not having my console damaged so it an auto-leave map now. Its not that good on CW anyway. The actual cold war maps very rare now. Its pretty pathetic as i only play CW

It's slow game compared with fps multilayer games like Warzone or any online shoter cs go there you need a lot fps and stable.And in your case dropping from 60 fps maybe to 45 40 fps let say so?So tell me before series x on last gen xbox one or one x was only 30 fps and all was happy 😊 so if you have drops from 60 to 45~very decent performance 😉 only bad players looking problems

Anyway mine video not lagging and i guess you miss but fps imagine showing you hit.So fps drops (and maybe network issues)try to fix with basic steps rr fully router,check speed and latency msg Restart xbox recommended daily. Because my friend use to have fps drops on couple games cuz he rarely Restart xbox.So after Restart no fps drops so do same. If still same report glitch to WARGAMING 😃

Mine is even worse than that. Series x, 1 gb fiber also. Worst spot for me is on the elevated area around A2-3 - B2-3.

Not the game, it's the map. WG says they are aware of the fps issues and are working on it, which could mean anything. Problem is on their end.

The map seems really good.
The city is great for tanks with longer reloads that need more cover to have a nice drawn-out fight or try to blitz through fast
The field on the other side of the map with houses and rocks sprawled about is great for tanks with more maneuverability and faster rate of fire as it is more chaotic and dangerous but gives better access to the enemy cap if you can win the flank
The castle in the middle is super dangerous if enough players push and getting control of this location is really strong as it gives you overlook on the other two flanks
I honestly like all routes in the map and it flows great and looks beautiful.
