#The boycott of War Thunder worked.

What happened there
Gaijin tried to torpedo the economy to force people to hyper grind premiums for silver to even spawn higher tier tanks in a match. Imagine if Wargaming made it where you struggled to break even with silver in a Tier 7 match
Now imo Wargaming is just as bad in other areas. The studio could do with a boycott/review bomb. They’ve been constantly releasing OP premiums that negatively affect the game. They don’t seem to care about game balance when money is involved.
I hate many things on WoT, but i tried WT multiple times and i tried ArmoredWarfare and WoT even with 6.0 disaster is better game than these two.
most of playerbase of wotc are old people who ape die and blame the team
so I wish you luck and I'm gonna randomly ping @lilac stag
Ill get you banned
NO Please DONT
Lol
I’ve made the same post a few days back but wg deleted it within an hour idk how this is still up
Yeah this is a risky post lol
Even if somehow the community could do it, they would add a new over powered premium tier 10 tank in the season pass
Because they check discord for 5 minutes every other month
You realise we got easy mode mode economy compared to pc?
Former PC player here, better hope WOT+ doesn't come to console.
Read what I wrote
I feel it's a little too late for that. If we wanted to review bomb WoT console we should have done it when 6.0 initially came out
We did review bomb. But unlike gaijin. Wargaming didn't and probably still doesn't care
There was literally a poll on Twitter of wargaming saying "should we keep 6.0 or remove it" and it was a resounding "remove it" as expected. And you can tell what still ended up happening
"ThAt'S nOt ThE wHoLe CoMmUnItY!"
I bet there's a secret reason we got 6.0 litteraly on the last possible date before some more or less important date in legal stuff and financing. I assume WG no longer had legal access to some stuff and therefore had to change before dec. 31st and couldn't revert.
it's because they had to change engines to keep up with graphical norms. They owned everything before hand because they still have rights to War Stories (I'm assuming that's what you're referring to)
No they dont. Thats why we lost war stories. I dont care what history changing WG has done since then, it is known and needs to be known
is there evidence for that. Because it was developed and published by wargaming. And the reason they gave is because the map files got corrupted leading to being unable to upgrade the maps
Because while yess they are no longer affiliated with anyone in Belarus or Russia. It doesn't necessarily mean that they no longer own War Stories
No no no. Thats the most recent reason they gave. And that is now the company line everybody is meant to sing. Because WG tell the truth all of the time yes?
map files should have been backed up 3 times over.
standard WG bovine extrement
bro there is quite literally no reason to lie about no longer having the rights to something. in fact if they did. People should probably care less and stop asking them to add it back
Saying that they lost the rights would have been a much easier solution
anyways. Give me absolute proof that WG lost the rights
also what
which they took on the forum
the proof is out there if you really want it
im not your english teacher dude. Put both words in google or use a dictionary
Bro you're acting like me not believing every word you say makes me a wg d-rider
They expected to have a contract renewed and a difference of opinion meant it wasnt. This lost them the licence to war stories. It is also the reason 6.0 was dropped way too early. I dont need to provide you with proof because its public knowledge.
then where is the said, public knowledge. If it's public knowledge, Yuu should be able to provide me a source easily
Not war stories rights. I mean like rights to 3rd party software from some other company. WG knew for weeks 6.0 was mess and any sane would have delayed it. But I believe they couldn't because legal reasons.
Ah. So that's why they couldn't just wait to release the maps all at once
I believe they were choose to switch the engine and canceled contracts for old software and therefore were forced to release before December 31st.
I can't think of any reason to justify a release they knew sucks bad and went straight into Christmas holidays.
There had to he something outside of there reach that made them do it.
That would make sense. They just borrowed a engine so then they had to switch because the contract expired. No wonder they didn't do anything even though nobody liked 6.0
Don't even think it's the engine, just some database stuff or other technology
Wg owns bigworld
I think the old forums are still archived somewhere.
I was around when that giant 6.0 dung pile dropped on us. I don't remember anything that was verified, just a lot of amateur detective work to try to make sense of it all. Obviously anything said by WG themselves was not believed.
