#Add bigger maps so hunting tanks have a chance

Yes they are way to small, we need bigger maps!!!
I agree, but the usual crew of whiners complained that the maps were too big when Cao Bang and the other big ones (whatever tf they were called) were playable in ww2.
Which mode? Because most of the maps are most definitely not too small in WW2. Quite the contrary actually.
It's because some of the maps they have were never changed other than graphically from the 360 and ps3
That's why alot of the maps (especially WWII) are very small
90% of the ww2 maps say that my radius were I get spotted is 3 coordinates big and my tank has an stealth from 217m
@mild hare clearly none of you goober played the cold war maps in ww2 tanks that didn't go 40💀💀
I'll say it over and over if don't got camo or mobility the tank serves zero porpose right now
and they didn't when 6.0 gutted all the maps they could've been useful on
I sure did. Games that last longer than 4 minutes sure suck, amirite?
Why start calling people names anyway? I will read that level of maturity into everything you post.
I take it that the potential problem was finding a fight before the game ended? That wasn't a problem at all on Cao Bang or the city one.It was only sometimes an issue on the one with the radio towers. But that was a problem with the map design, not the size. On the desert one, I remember getting bombarded to death in slow tanks if I couldn't get to the hill before getting spotted. Again, a design issue. That big city map was extremely fun no matter what tank you drove...except for the boulder glitches and off the map hill campers.
I think for WW2 the maps are sized just right as there are many tanks which are just too slow to move about a larger map; which I think is why some larger maps were removed from WW2 like scorpion pass (or whatever the new version of it is called.
Personal I think the opposite should be done so that CW tanks can have the smaller maps brought back into rotation such as Ghost Town.
Small maps should be like himmel...multiple paths, multiple obstacles. Outside of that, 1k by 1k should be the bare minimum, imo.
@mild hare few if any CW tanks go less than 50km/h, and many heavies are as fast or faster than mediums. CW has large spotting view range and infinite player view range, it needs maps that allow for flexible and mobile play styles of all manners. Corridor maps are Not for CW !!! The CW maps should allow viability for multiple classes and play styles. Otherwise we are left with "The Abbey". (The Abbey is a metaphor for any bad map design)
I would still like to see CW on small maps like ghost town or even mines. All CW tanks are fairly mobile so players would have more opportunity at close combat and more opportunities to brawl.
There's no point. World of Tanks CW isn't the game/mode you want to play. I don't know what you truly want, but that's not it, even if you don't realize that yet.
Lol. I think I know what I enjoy.
And I think I know what's good for the game, and I think things through with more clarity and wisdom. @wide dock Tell me, am I spitting Facts again ?
Era 3 "Totally" needs Ghost Town 🇳 🇴
Have you even played the game?!?! Almost every map has so many bushes. Heavy’s don’t brawl anymore they sit in a corner waiting the ENTIRE GAME! All you need is the 3 concealment perks and a camo net and u wont be seen unless furring or when there are within like 150m (true story)
I don't play cw. They can do whatever they want with that mess. I just want larger maps in ww2.
Larger maps means a lot of time to go back from point "A" to point "B"
besides the maps for WWII have a three way layout (same as old CoD like BO2/3) but MW2 "22" has 3 ways but a lot of ways to go around or change positions.
the problem with WoT maps is
1 - Team
2 - Classes
3 - Map (Open, Mid or Closed)
4 - Points of interest
a lot of the WWII maps have famous spots, now don't get me wrong we all wanna go with a certain tank and Block, Spot or Deal unbelievable amounts of damage.
like ya'll just cry wolf now a days but don't even give them certain ideas to work with.
for example I saw one guy in this server suggesting if /amount of players are alive and friendlies capping the base your team gets certain bonus
like, resupply, UAV ( or just call it Intel)
There are very few good maps in WW2 that aren't 3 lane LoL maps. There may be others, but all I can think of are Redshire, Malinovka and Prok. They are mostly open and have multiple positions to work out of. The problem with the WW2 maps currently in rotation are lack of space and lack of options.
I liked that guys idea that base capping be removed as a victory condition. Games that end with a cap are pointless.
Redshire still a three way point, Malinovka understandable but just way to open and I would say 2 way map and Prokhorovka I would say a tricky one but the main roads are still three way.
like these maps are well to open, there is some height difference so I see where you're coming from,
We need more city maps, super heavies aren’t common because most maps are just too large or lack cover. Either that or my map rotations are almost always open maps or just the one lane where all heavies flood into because they can’t go anywhere else without being spotted or shelled by artillery. I can’t remember the last time I played a city map on WW2
@wide dock they are right a 100%, prok, Mali, nomohan and other maps like these are way too small for sniping
Prok and Mali are fine. Give me even bigger versions, too. Nomo is a bit of a mess. The "town" in the SE corner is just a deathtrap that needs to either go away or extend farther to the north.
WWII maps shouldn’t exceed one square kilometer. No tanks need more room than that.
What about cold war medium tanks what pref do they get as maps are small and uneven so 7/10 its brawling there are more than just heavy tanks 👍
In your opinion. That is not objective fact. My opinion is different. Halfaya Pass was fun. The cw maps were (mostly) fun when we had them in ww2.
Majority of the cold war medium tanks are hunting tanks but yet the maps don't qualify as "Balanced" especially era 3
How about a compromise? Add a map larger than 1 square km for every ww2 map that is smaller than 1 square km.
WWII. I dont care about CW. They have their own maps
Calling something an opinion doesnt make it wrong
Even tho you don't care why should that make my opinion in valid?
There are separate map pools for each mode. I said WWII tanks shouldnt play on maps larger than 1 square kilometer. I do not care what maps are in the CW pool
Awesome thank you for clarification.
On the other hand how do I start a thread as I have about 15 game clips to be reviewed as I believe the era 3 cold war tank Type 59D has under 60 MM of pen @safe epochM. Not 600 I have video proof
I don't really want to argue semantics, but I didn't call your opinion anything. I merely pointed out the fact that it was one person's opinion. Doesn't make it right or wrong.
scorpion pass was garbage in ww2
quite literally because everyone just camps on hill
I rarely saw that. There was usually engagement across the whole map when I was lucky enough to get it.
Bigest maps are biger long time ago was 1.2km on 1.2km now some maps 1.5k 1.5km and small map are like ghost town mines which are missing no poit big map then battle last 2 min🤣they shod add those to small medium big in tier x will be perfect
No. We need some of the smaller maps back firts, maps like Tundra, Windstorm, Berlin and Ensk. Superheavies need some playground too, we have enough open maps already.
Yes
