#Arty 2.0 Yes or No?

ARTY is so much more fun to play now. 😁
The opinion on the rebalance would change if there was only one per team.
Definitely need to limit 1 mabe 2 arty to a team
Any nerf made was hard counter buffed to a broken point, making them shoot faster would have been less broken than it is if they couldn't have three arty on there team, there have been multiple games where arty fully dominate a single flank unlike the ht's on our team. It shouldn't be possible to have three arty consecutively shooting rounds of 600 damage every 4 seconds due to there being three. As I said it wouldn't be "as broken" but there is also the fact that arty can no longer counter arty which punishes good arty players from eliminating the rng/auto clicker out of the game from the enemy team. Up until this point these were facts so now imma give my opinion, this update was completely out of nowhere, nobody asked for this, and all you did was make your game a more toxic environment for the masses trying to please the few, this isn't irl where people in power cater to the few "the rich".... This is world of tanks, your updates should be focused to better the whole of your game not a 7-17% player experience
To add onto this these are not the only poor changes at all and not the only negative effects of this update, I suggest you revert the update for the time it takes to fix these issues or take your month of work to recode how arty should work
Keep arty 2.0
You could argue that arty 2.0 would not have been necessary in the first place if they just stuck with one per team.
One artillery per team was already tasted in october/november.
And getting hit for 800+ or one shotted was still super annoying. The 40% damage nerf was definitely needed.
Oh definitely agree. But the accuracy and rate of fire buffs completely nullified any benefit the damage nerf had. Driving a heavy on open maps with three arty is almost unplayable now. I'll never understand why the arty faction of the player base gets catered to so much at the expense of everyone else.
Yes. With three artilleries. That's the problem.
If it was only one per team it wouldn't matter if the reload is faster. Because in my GW Tiger I only deal 50-400 damage to a Maus. Whereas before 2.0 I'd deal 800. The only reason why artillery seems broken right now is because there's 2-3 shooting & tracking you every 6-18 seconds.
We just have to hope WG figures out a way to give us one arty per team back soon.
Tier 8-10 artilleries used to miss you by 10 meters and still cause 800 damage. Now? If I hit close to the tracks I might cause 100-300. And if I miss, than I miss.
And when you get penned by artillery, instead of losing 2000 HP aka dying, you only lose 1.3k 🤷♀️ Still annoying, but so is a deathstar or jageroo with 6.0 accuracy. At least now you survive and can do stuff. Instead of going straight back to garage...
And even with the accuracy buffs, hitting, let alone penning a shot, is still completely off to RNG.
hmh fv305 only does 420 damage now, it has a 5.7 second reload but when you direct hit someone your lucky to do 80 damage
indeed, FV304 but at tier 8.
So dumb xd Good at perma tracking I guess...
Might start taking the track mechanic skill again
i used to average around 1900-2500 damage in it, now im lucky to do over 1000 with all direct hits
