It actually is a high risk arty as you must be every close to the front line, as it's range is greatly reduced. High risk, high reward.

I’m talking about Arty in general, but even that Arty is low risk. You don’t have to be in direct line of sight. Conceptually it’s low risk

Since when has cannon size always correlated with damage?
Look at the Taran vs E4. Somehow a 152mm has 950 when the 155mm has 850?
And then the T30’s 155mm is 750?
There is such a thing as balance
And if the FV215b(183) and 4005 have to have their alpha nerfed so they can’t one shot, despite having to expose themselves, then artillery sure shouldn’t be able to indirect fire one shot people
Keep in mind the 183mm tanks never had their reloads buffed to keep their dpm consistent

Also have you ever heard of the Type 5 with its 150mm. That thing can constantly roll for 450 HE damage, while also having to expose itself, unlike Arty
The arty class has been a class full of hypocritical balancing for a long time
I’m glad the alpha got nerfed. Now they just need to revert the reload speed

Maybe if all of the complainers whined as hard as they did before the changes WG will bend the knee once more and revert the changes. But that's an awfully big maybe...might take YEARS of further crying in order to force em into doing something...who knows...🤷🏼♂️😂🤣
