So it's now 4000xp for a single point, the Weekly missions are grindier for fewer points, the Daily missions award fewer points, and overall they've taken what was initially a very player-positive event structure and for the second time made it more of a grind and time commitment.
This has been done with no effort made to communicate the change to players - not even in the article about the season on the web portal. It is a significant change to the season scoring system that will make it less pleasant for people - especially when the challenges to earn those points require the same types of achievements as they did previously.
With a "Battle Pass" system coming to World Of Warships as well I have to assume this is just the new corporate directive, possibly based on a principle of "Well, Gaijin gets away with it so why not us?"
It's crap, and it appears to assume that either no one will bother complaining or that no one will notice - or at least not until they've already handed over their cash for the Season Pass.
And once someone has already handed over their money it doesn't matter on the corporate level because the Season Pass was a financial success - people re-upped again, converted to the paid pass, and are clearly happy; they gave us the money, after all.
This is an anti-player move that reduces my interest in the game, in the season, and in encouraging my friends to continue playing.
