I'm not a big stickler on many game bugs, but I feel that this needs to be fixed or I probably won't be playing anymore. This weird occurrence keeps happening in which when I get up to my ball, facing the fairway or the green, I go to swing but the direction Im facing changes, and ends up aiming me way right in the middle of my swing. That leads to my ball going miles away from the hole, a lot of times going OB. My player is rhoade23, and by my scores through my second round, you can obviously see that it happened a lot in my tourney round at quail hollow. Not just that, but it happens in every round I play. Please pay attention to this, I really love this game and don't want to stop playing it because of one bug. Thanks so much!

The game doesn't arbitrarily move you or change which way you are facing. It sounds like what you have is stick drift. This is a very common issue with Quest controllers. Your thumbstick becomes more sensitive over time and swinging the club even slowly can cause it to activate and turn you around or even throw you into giant mode.
You can try playing a round (or even just a few holes) with the opposite controller (you can play with your dominant hand with either of the controllers) to see if it happens with both. It's possible that both have drift. If you do, try this:
Go into the Meta settings, devices, controllers. There is an option there to enlarge the deadzone for your thumbstick. If you adjust that, the stick will be less sensitive and that will stop this from happening.
You can also get some electrical contact cleaner and spray that under the thumbstick. If you Google Quest stick drift you can find instructions on how to address this problem.
Be mindful that stick drift can get worse over time so while the deadzone may be the easiest way to solve the issue, you may have to continue to increase that.
Ok thanks so much! I did not mean to come off as rude or taking a shot at the game... I really do love it and will try both of these options to see if it still works out so that I can continue playing the VR game I love. Thanks again! Excited to see what's to come with this game.
