Hi! So, I just did a fresh install of Linux Mint (22.3 Cinnamon edition) and observed that whenever I try to open a browser and search for something, music I am playing over my bluetooth earphones starts becoming laggy, choppy and I also hear glitchy sounds. It goes away if close the browser. This issue is especially present when I am connected to a Wi-Fi network and seems to be absent if I am using an ethernet cable.
I have no such issues with Windows and Fedora 44 on the same laptop. What could be causing this and how can I mitigate this issue? Would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

This might just be that BT and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi are on the same spectrum
why not use a small bt dongle?
dont use a usb dongle for wifi because they are garbage but you can use one for BT right??
it has less data going through so it shouldn't overheat
Hmm.. I use wired earphones instead, was just wondering if there's a way to solve this.
bruh then why do u need BT 😭
It's a nice to have.
true
you can also check if the antennas are plugged in properly or not to the wifi card
(that fixed a lot of issues for me on laptop)
one of the antenna cables were disconnected
after plugging it in, wifi worked so good lol
Don't think that's a hardware issue since Windows and Fedora have no problems.
wouldn't hurt to check but sure
wait
then why dont u just use fedora?
oh God
