Ok, Not sure this is the problem, but I recommand you re-flash your USB. This time you select GPT as partition scheme and when it ask for it, select ISO method

rain fern
#

oke

#

this correct?

#

didn't ask me for iso method or anything

hasty arrow
#

it's ok, it should ask you once you click Start

rain fern
#

should just do iso image as it says noh?

rain fern
hasty arrow
#

yes

#

ISO image mode

rain fern
#

after this im gonna try again

#

i remove rufus autorun files too? or optional

hasty arrow
#

which rufus autorun files ? I don't know what you are talking about

rain fern
#

just these

hasty arrow
#

why would you delete that ?

#

delete nothing, and retry booting on USB....

rain fern
#

oke

#

still shutting down....

hasty arrow
#

same issue ?

rain fern
#

yes, i can try doing nouveau.nomodeset=0

#

cuz that did something

hasty arrow
#

If you select Compatibility Mode this should do the same thing

#

notexactly the same, but pretty the same

#

wait, nomodeset=0 ..

#

Try the Compatibility Mode

#

What is the exact model of your Laptop ?

rain fern
#

uhh

#

acer aspire v3 575g-52gy

#

oh ok, so i did nouveau.nomodeset=0, acpi=noirq, and pci=biosirq and it shut down at um

#

Load/save rf kill switch status

hasty arrow
#

what happen if you simply select Compatibility Mode ?

rain fern
#

imma try

#

shuts down at the same thing

hasty arrow
#

pretty strange

rain fern
#

its prob with my gpu

hasty arrow
#

Try to reset BIOS to default parameters.. then reboot and simply disable Secure Boot and retry

rain fern
#

oke

hasty arrow
#

never seen GPU issue produce such behavior and error message

#

Also, check Acer support website, using Laptop serial number, if you can found BIOS update

rain fern
#

u want me to uodate BIOS?

hasty arrow
#

Actually, I doubt you can... but, if BIOS update is available, this might be a good idea

#

Because I really don't know what can be the issue, except a very strange BIOS

#

And you BIOS have no options...

rain fern
#

hmm

#

all i see on the acer support website is some update for some random app

#

this lowk might be toast :(

hasty arrow
#

Ok, so, no BIOS update as I suspected

rain fern
#

my bios isn't normal?

hasty arrow
#

Maybe it is, I don't know

#

This kind of crash is unusual

#

And when you select Compatibility Mode, you have the same error message ?

rain fern
#

then it shuts down

hasty arrow
rain fern
hasty arrow
#

But I think it's indeed a GPU problem.. very specific and rare one

rain fern
#

oh wait

#

as in like edit smth in grub

#

?

hasty arrow
rain fern
#

got nothing like that in my fn keys

hasty arrow
#

All laptop have a key to disable Wifi

rain fern
#

ah

hasty arrow
#

Fn+F3 it seem

rain fern
#

sure wait

#

idek if it works cuz i pressed it and my wifi in windows didnt turn off

#

lord me

#

this is cooked

hasty arrow
#

I have no more idea...

rain fern
#

me neither

#

imma just try doing whatever atp
