Apologies if this has been posted before, I have been unable to boot into the most recent version of Mint on my machine as of an update I did yesterday to 6.17.0-19. Can boot into 6.14.0-37. I can dual boot into Windows as well so I'm aware it isn't a hardware issue. I believe there were some errors that popped up as the update was installed but I figured they were due to trying to install the same file twice or something lol. Complete noob when it comes to Linux so any help is appreciated.

Can post screenshots if needs be but not really sure what i can post rn except this output of sudo dpkg --configure -a which seems to be a relevant command, again not really sure what it does though lmao
^updated via update manager app if thats relevant too
The problem here is that virtualbox 7.0.16 kernel modules are not compatible with kernel 6.17. Remove them if you don't use virtualbox and the update should go through
uninstalled VirtualBox and it ended up working for me, thank you so much!
