it is compatible with Linux Mint, just follow their instructions, but DO NOT do anything it says for gnome commands, or you will get screwed/ Gnomed.

@sick cypress

#

eh.

#

if u want to be safe do a timeshift snapshot

#

but generally, u can ask questions here if ur not sure of stuff

#

but i saw someone the other day posted the official instructions for proton vpn and it was easy af - just DONT do the gnome shit

#

it's not a big deal except u wasted a Gigabyte or more of space. plus u may find it ugly and it takes over your desktop. u have to know how to switch back to Cinnamon from login menu

#

go to official proton vpn page and find the ubuntu instructions. if none are for ubuntu or mint, then find for Debian.

#

and go thru line by line

#

did u actually GET GNOMED?

#

do whereis gnome-shell

#

aight well.. just log out and click the circle or session chooser in the login manager, and choose "Cinnamon - default" and log back in

#

if u had a timeshift snapshot, just roll back to some other day before this happened
