Then after that not working no matter what, I can boot linux mint cinnamon via the "nomodeset" trick, I've been trying to use afulnx to update the bios directly from a folder, without a thumbstick....
Nothings working, the main reason I want to update bios is to not need the "nomodeset" to even get into desktop. Because without it (on both mint and zorin OS) it just black screens every time

My understanding is that if I could update the bios, it would solve the black screening, and that nomodeset is giving performance buffs but is temporary
