Don't worry, that's normal. Your system got as much processes as my system.
Windows is like 500+ if I remember correctly
Almost all of those processes are in the 'sleeping' state. They are not consuming CPU but rather waiting on I/O resources.
'running' (Actively using CPU) processes are 2 or 3 at most
Generally apps that you have focused
I believe Linux counts what windows considers "services" as their own processes as well, instead of majority being under svchost process like it (most likely) still is under Windows
