Pendrive status changed to read-only after one use

do you have enough free storage space available to copy the pendrive data to it? AND a second space for a backup copy - bc it's important data.
ADDED: is the data encrypted?

whatever that was I plugged it in laptop with windows, clicked repair and everything is fine, no issues by far

note if formatting usb drives for use on different OS's, use exFAT
