I need to run KSP with DX11 to reduce lag and make some graphic mods work properly (at the reccomendation of the creator of said mod) However, when I try and load ksp with dx11 (via proton experimental, proton 9, or proton hotfix) the game doesn't load at all. i have an rx7800.

I use the proton QT application in the Discovery Store. I know you need dx11 for the mod but you have established at the game runs fine without trying to enable dx11 right?
That will at least narrow down the issue isn't necessarily proton but something with dx11 (potentially plus proton)
