#Is there a way I could configure the start menu to act similar to Windows 10's Pinned Tiles?

You don't like the pre-ordered categories in cinnamon?
I personally want to customize my own categories, esp for 3rd party software
There's nothing to summon but @glossy swallow
bump
I think it does. Showing large icons. (obviously only the favourites you can drag around)
I'll give that a shot thanks!
found in APPLETS> download tab.
also yeah it doesn't look like it has categories like in Windows 10, a potential candidate so far ig :`3
or rather positioning tiles to one's liking especially
I have nothing to add to this software question. The Cinnamon menu is fairly open to configuration, but if you want total control, KDE is your platform.
or use a DESKLET.
all set now, @limpid trellis ?
It still isn't giving me what I wanted, since I couldn't set a custom order for my own icons per category, and I don't want to stack all of my applications in the favorites category either. I couldn't even change the category order that, even when I use MenuLibre it duplicates the category and bugs out which is a little frustrating. I guess if this is the closest solution, it can't be helped and it's something I have to get used to. Nevertheless, I appreciate you guys for trying.
