Steam doesn't launch correctly through the shortcut. It starts shows the login screen, but after that, it gets minimized to the system tray.
Right clicking and selecting anything makes the Steam icon show up very briefly in the taskbar but nothing is displayed.
Command steam in the terminal launches Steam normally without any issues.

No idea what causes that. A possible workaround is running Flatpak Steam.

if you dont wanna do flatpak. right click the desktop. create a shortcut. and in the command just put the command you use to launch steam. boom. dont launch via termianl with the shortcut. but check use GPU if can

It did in this case, alternative workaround is disabling gpu acceleration from Steam settings

Seems steam if you launch it via desktop is trying to use both at the same time. Which overloads it and crashes it
