Fans stop spinning on my Dell G15 5535 with Linux Mint

As described and ONLY on Linux Mint, the fans on my laptop just stop spinning which causes it to overheat and potentially cause these occasional full lock-ups where the computer has to be hard restarted. I cannot seem to find a fix, there's no easy plug and play software for fan controls and stuffing random stuff I find online into the terminal didn't seem to fix anything.

I am BRAND NEW to Linux as a whole so most of the advice online did not help and only confused me further.

If you know anything please help me out, right now I'm back to Windows 10 while I try and troubleshoot this.

OS: Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon
DELL G15 5535
CPU: Ryzen 7 7840HS w/Radeon 780M
GPU: NVIDIA 4060 Laptop GPU

Idk much about this either but try rebooting and testing it again and confirm whether modprobe actually changed the kernel
