I have installed Windows 11 on a standalone drive, now I want to install Linux Mint on another drive with full disk encryption. Is it possible? The Linux Mint installation says the full disk encryption is intended for single boot system only, and it will wipe out the entire drive.

it shouldn't touch windows drive. confirm in the dialog it doesn't want to delete it.

you can disable it in (some) UEFI setup or unplug the drive

I'd recommend disconnecting the Windows drive. the linux installer tends to not like any existing Bitlocker mess

you'll likely need to keep secure boot on the whole time, and register it properly post-mint-install
