Cannot install .deb package the GUI way in i3

So I am using i3 window manager based on Mint. When I'm using xfce I can install the package just through the GUI. However, once I'm in i3 environment I seem to not be able to do that. The only thing I can do is installing the package through the terminal. Help is much appreciated

I had this before, check if you can install it via terminal with sudo dpkg -i discord.deb and send the log here. If it's the same thing I had before it's because discord needs some dependencies that is not available in apt, if that doesn't work try flatpak.

I can install it in terminal, yes. Ty so much.

Maybe i3 just cannot install things GUI way. Cuz it's the same with all other .deb package

and your i3 config must load at login some kind polkit thing. this is to allow root permissions prompt when needed by administrative apps
