#USB Flash not detected during Boot menu startup

I don't know how i would be able to replicate the steps since i think this is different for each devices but

  1. I downloaded XFCE
  2. used balena etcher to flash my USB
  3. Opened settings > "Reset My Pc" > advanced settings > load via usb
    This is where the issue starts, after this, i got an error message stating that no flash drives were found.
    Even after opening the BIOS and selecting the boot options, i only had the Windows Boot Manager and some other media player smth but not the Linux mint selection i wanted

The image above isn't the error, but this is just the image where it doesn't have it as option

when loading from a bios.
But when i do it from the pc recovery > flash drive usb boot part, then it tells me theres no USB Detected
