Running windows 10 and wanting to install linux in order to duo-boot. Have created a bootable USB. Just wanted to confirm if I go to bios and install linux if my current systems will be overwritten or not (even accidentally)?

if you read the prompts saying which disks will be modified and confirm it doesn't want to delete anything, it's alright propably. a backup will never hurt though

but if done right, it wont overwrite
as long as you see "install alongside Windows" in step 3 of installer, you should be good to go.
