Linux Mint fonts are a bit blurry and smudged.
I have the latest Mint with Cinnamon. Integrated GPU UHD730 Intel. 1920x1080 screen 27 inch.
But I have a problem with the fonts.
It's very wisible in pdf files
They're kind of pixelated, not very sharp and a bit faded when I open the files with Okular or any other pdf program.
However they look normal when opened with Libre Office Draw (real dark and bolder)

The issue is system wide but even more visible in pdf files.
I used to have Windows 7 and the fonts were sharper.

What can I do to improve the fonts on mint ?

Thanks, I'm still not satisfied with the font quality. So I reinstalled Win7 on another drive to compare with Mint using the same screen and there wasn't much difference after all. So I'm considering buying a new screen. I wonder, maybe 1920x1080 resolution is too low for a 27 inch monitor. I remember when I changed my monitor about 1 year ago from 24 to 27 inch thinking the picture quality was not as good.

the trick is to not have 1080, but lower

768 vertical is ideal for computer use when your eyes are 2 to 3 feet away from screen
