There are unnamed partitions left after the installation and I can't do anything.

#

I tried to install it again but the same thing happens, I don't know what's going on and by the way, it doesn't appear where I want to put Linux Mint when I click on install with Windows boot (it appears if I create a partition)

it wont read linux filesystem

Boot the Mint ISO on USB and post a picture from the Disks program or terminal results for sudo parted -l

u can a) check ur windows system information first
and
b) check bios order

Maybe and be careful I'm installing it from a USB

fluid blaze

nah here's what it appears the issue is:

#

ur windows is legacy run. i can see there's no EFI system partition there

#

so u must confirm this

#

then install Mint as legacy mode if confirmed

fluid blaze
#

@honest sigil ...?

fluid blaze
#

no, just go to "run"

#

or hit win+r

honest sigil
fluid blaze

@honest sigil open powershell (as admin)

#

and put powercfg /h off and press enter.

#

this is so Windows won't interfere with dualboot.

#

then boot the live USB of Mint, like Jeremy said. and tell us when ready

fluid blaze
#

boot the usb like that everytime

Please don't make negative comments about the help here. Are you going to boot the Mint ISO and provide results for sudo parted -l

honest sigil
#

?

Everyone here is a volunteer and nobody gets paid

#

The info I asked for is important as Windows doesn't normally understand Linux filesystems
