perhaps this way, not legacy. or vice versa
i only have 1 usb option and compatibility mode does not work
pop into your BIOS, and if the pc is made in last 11 years, it may have legacy boot and UEFI boot . Legacy is sometimes known as CSM for compatibility support module. just make sure the usb stick is in the UEFI boot priorities list and not in the legacy list
or disable CSM altogether
if that doesn't help, then you may need to reflash your usb
will that delete all my data?
what data?
like the installation
no no
oh good
means making a new usb for booting
oh ok
like burning an installer/live DVD in the older days

see this guide here. #1295816480256163892 message
with that, u can just drag n drop or delete ISOs (or regular data files) at any time.
was this related to another post about resizing your linux partition?
yes of course. the guide above mentions u can install ventoy from a linux environment, or from a Windows environment. just get the right file.
if you're looking for just a bootable environment to resize your partition of Linux, you can get gparted-live or miniOS standard (though u have to get gparted once IN miniOS live)
ok
if u already have a good Mint iso on the computer, then use that
Is this solved now?
