reset pairing info on device if feasible (check manual) run bluetoothctl a cli for bluetooth. list to show devices scan on to scan for new devices in order pair trust and connect to establish a connection

If you use the headphones on a dual boot computer this can happen

The pairing key in the Bluetooth device changes and it has no idea of the OS running
