#Specific Bluetooth keyboard won't stay connected

I have a number of Bluetooth keyboards. Most of them appear to work with my Linux Mint laptop.

However, one Bluetooth keyboard, my Perixx Foldable will not work, despite working perfectly with my Steam Deck (also Linux) and Android devices.

This leads me to believe the issue lies with mint rather than Linux compatibility, as I mentioned it does work with my other Linux devices.

For reference, the full product name is "Perixx PERIBOARD-805 Ergo, Wireless Foldable Ergonomic Bluetooth Keyboard"

It appears on the Bluetooth screen, I can "connect" it, but it will not input anything, even after I set it as a Trusted Device.

Let me know the troubleshooting steps and diagnostics I should take.

Thank you!

edit: Resolved. For some reason it was not working last night, but is working today.

sure I'll be sure to include screenshots

firstly. keyboard itself supports 3 devices
I switch it from my phone as device 3 (green light on keyboard), to device 2. green light goes off because it is not connected to anything.

I then activate the Bluetooth search mode. blue light blinks

next on the laptop I click search in Bluetooth Devices menu.

I then see my keyboard. click it then click the key icon to create pairing.

says connected for a sec
then disconnect

#

and it still appears in bluetooth list

#

if i right click and connect
Connection Failed: Input/output error

#

should I click Accept?

#

Hmm.... Clicking Accept seems to make it work. (though it wasnt working when i tested it last night. odd.)

#

marking this resolved for now. weird
