First things first, the app I need to use is not available on Linux and I really need it, it is BlueBook. Around a week ago I wrote something similar to this in the Linux tab, but sadly I didnât get a solution for my problem. I was trying to use Bottles on my OS, but sadly it doesnât work. Whenever I try to run the app it pops up a tab that works as an intro. At the end of the intro it says âclick se button below to updateâ. When I do so it doesnât work and it looks like before I clicked the button.

Can you provide a link to bluebook?
I tried using wine for Bluebook but it didnât work
Sorry for bothering you @tepid salmon can you give me a hand with this?
I can't download it
could you try running bluebook in terminal mode (on bottles) and type the line that is written when you press the button?
also bottles/wine is not a windows emulator, its a compatibility layer
btw does changing the wine runner do anything?
I downloaded it someway but I donât remember how
Wym by wine runner?
Do you know how to do that?
If you downloaded it, can you share it through google drive or other sharing site?
the wine executor in the bottle's settings
you can use the preferences menu to download new wine runners
Ok Iâll
But I couldnât even access the settings
im talking about bottles
Me too
wdym you can't
When I open it, like it said it pops up something that obligates me to install something, when I do it nothing changes and keeps asking me for the same
can you send a screenshot
can you try doing a full uninstall by typing flatpak uninstall --delete-data com.usebottles.bottles and then installing bottles again?
do i reinstall it by a command from flatpak?
you can just use the linux mint software manager
