Okay, what kind of videos? Youtube videos only or videos from other sites too?

Hmm... Google made attempts to throttle and slow down people videos when they are using adblocker on Youtube, not sure about Facebook though...

Are you using latest version of Chrome, or an older one?

And try checking if freezing still occurs if adblocker is off

Opera is also chromium based. Does it happen on Firefox, or something based of it?
