how to i edit input.conf file on /etc/bluetooth

when i try to pair a controller it keeps asking me for a passoword from the controller and ofc its impossible to get it and i found a fix online that says i gotta edit input.conf but it wont let me

by opening it in a text editor. you also need root permissions, which some editors like kwrite can give you easily. or open xed as root sudo xed /etc/bluetooth/input.conf
