Is there an equivalent to hwinfo (https://www.hwinfo.com/) for Mint? I'm specifically looking for a way to measure overall power consumption, start it up once (or even have it running entirely unattended as a daemon) and have an average/overall consumption.

for general HW info, you can use inxi tool, e.g list Full system info with 3 levels of detail (xxx)
inxi -Fxxx
can also only get selected portions, e.g -G for graphics info, -C for CPU info.
as for battery usage, you may be able to use TLP tool. no experience with it though.
