What do you mean by fast boot? Are you dual booting, by any chance?

#

Can you please run sudo lspci and paste the output here?

#

sure, take your time

mediatek 7902 is not supported, there is no driver for it. all you can do is buy a new WiFi card, for PCIe the Intel AX 210 is a good cheap choice

Choose a compatible one, I guess. Also consider your budget.

Other than that, I'd go with community choices or suggestions, like what lot has said above, or some random github repo somewhere (i forgor).

Quite the long read, but it's a very good resource.

I always recommend an Intel AX210 for newer laptops that have an M.2 Wi-Fi slot, like yours does. It is a combined Wi-Fi 6E / Bluetooth card with the best signal stability I have seen. Switching Wi-Fi-cards in laptops is doable, you just need to get it open without breaking the case. The card is held down with one screw, and you need to detach the black and grey antenna cables, which takes some pulling. Do note that the antenna plugs are metal and a bit hard to get in again, since they are also tiny. But it can be done with some patience and good lighting.
Do not throw away your unsupported card. It will eventually be supported, but that may take another year or two.

Because it is exceedingly rare to find Wi-Fi soldered down, even now. And M.2 (A/E-key) is the only slot used now.
