I saw that my WM is, acording to neofetch, "mutter (muffin)". I went to the software manager and checked it out. I didn't click "uninstall" and I can see it's in the software manager as installed. But neofetch no-longer has a line for WM. The issue now is when I try to play a game fullscreen. Minecraft has a keybind for toggle fullscreen. It launches minimised, but the hotkey works fine to fullscreen it. When I hit the hotkey again to toggle it back to minimised, minecraft has a panic attack. The top of the window goes white, and the mouse can only click buttons a few inches below it [mouse position desynced]. And the toolbar to manualy minimise, fullscreen, and close minecraft aren't visible. It goes away when I close and re-open minecraft, but the issue with fullscreen-ing it is still there.

did you attempt to reboot?
yes, neofetch has agreed that I do still have a WM, and full screening things works now
so it fixed by reboot?
Yep
