Hey all, I was looking for some help. I want to give Linux another go, and I would like to host a game server on a small dedicated linux machine. What's the best machine I can get that's similar in usability to a raspberry Pi (like a linux mini pc), something under $120?

You can probably pick up an old Dell Optiplex or something similar
Only thing they would really lack in is graphics processing power but if you're running a server on it you wouldn't really need that anyway
Also linux mint would not be a very good distro for running as a server, there are far better distros suited to server use

agreed, optiplexes like 5040 with an i5 or i7 6th gen CPU are great and for really dirt cheap. the first one I found is for 70 euro.
