How to transfer large video file from iphone to linux?

I have a 6G video on my iphone8 and I need to use it on my computer.
The problem is when plug-in, only files which is less than 4G are shown.
There is also an issue post on github https://github.com/libimobiledevice/ifuse/issues/88 but no answer.

Any other way to transfer the file to computer?

see if it can work with Nemo or dolphin file managers, you can install dolphin via flatpak so that you don't get kde depencencies, or make a snapshot and roll back after, if no success

if that doesn't work, try with the mtp protocol?

you can maybe try a live usb?

but that's a workaround just really. don't know the root of the issue
