#Fedora 41 Disk/Drive Permission Discrepancies

Encountered Problem:
When attempting to utilize the KDE partition manager, I am confronted with an error message that necessitates formatting the disk/drive in question. However, formatting is not a viable solution due to the following reasons:
Shared Usage: This disk/drive is employed by both myself (using Fedora 41) and my brother (utilizing Windows). Formatting would disrupt his access to the data stored on the drive.
Data Preservation: Formatting would result in the complete erasure of all data currently residing on the disk/drive. This is unacceptable as the data is essential for both of us.

you can open the file manager as administrator, then you'll have permissions
you can edit the permissions via kde partition manager, this is the best expaination you'll get
