i imagine that means either your drive died or got loose, if you didn't change anything. do you have a bootable linux usb?

that or it's shared with Windows, and it did something, perhaps even tainting/updating the BIOS ON YOUR Covert BEHALF

I think I might have the one I used to put Linux mint on it somewhere around here. You want me to see if I can reinstall mint on it? Also the drive is 5 years old

boot the usb ISO of Mint n see in the accessory app called Disks if u can see, mount, and access the nvme from the live environment

Stunner means to say, boot into that live environment, but do not reinstall just yet. There are probably ways to recover your install.
