So far, I have been storing my passwords in a ... notes app in my phone. I want a more secure way to store them, which won't make me lose my passwords if my device suddenly dies. I really want to be able to have an app to store all my passwords on both android and linux/windows. Is there any app that does just that? I have heard of bitwarden, but I am not sure if it serves my needs or if it is good. I would love it if someone recommended me a specific app!

best method: a paper notebook with very clear writing, kept in a safe and private place.
other method: a text file put into a password-protected (encrypted) ZIP file, the zip password kept as a master, either fully memorized in your head and/or written in notebook.
other method, susceptible to online hacking: password managers such as keepassxc, bitwarden, etc
Can I do this on my phone and my pc? I really need the portability
see if ur phone has an application to open zip files.
just keep an updated copy in two places
The easiest option if you don't want to deal with setting things up is Bitwarden, a potentially more secure option (that wouldn't be as easy to setup) could be an encrypted zip file or Keepass database file in something like Google Drive or OneDrive
