Whenever I boot into Linux mint it's showing this form the past few days. It started after I installed minectraft on this thing. It worked fine but suddenly the screen started flickering and I rebooted the laptop and I'm stuck with this this black screen evr since. I had a similar problem in Windows, whenever I restarted the laptop it wold start to flicker. I used to fix it by going in safe mode and uninstall g the video driver.
After I encountered this problem I tried to reinstall mint but even that dint work. I saw tutorials saying to to hold shift and got to grub menu but I'm unable to.
When I held shift after booting in mint I got this image

BTW I only have single boot ubuntu Kingston

when you start your pc, spam ESC, enter advanced options, press linuxmint in recovery mode, run dpkg option and then continue

For some reason I'm unable to change the brightness and I'm getting lower fos than I got previously in minecraft

In Windows also I couldn't get the brightness to change

But when I transitioned to mint I could use it earlier

It's still showing me this image and I have to go to recovery mode and run dkg after evrtime I shut down the pc
